Sotheby’s spring auctions of 20th Century Design concluded yesterday in New York with an impressive total of $25.1 million – surpassing the series’ high estimate of $21.6 million. Nearly 400 lots were offered over the course of two days, with an outstanding 87.2% of lots sold overall.
