It`s summertime, which means it`s time for summer blockbusters. Sure, those movies all seem to come out in April and May now, but there is still plenty of space in June, July, and August for big, fun movies, even though the most anticipated movies of the year are already out of theaters.The upcoming three months may be short in terms of quantity of decent-looking horror movies, but there are plenty of sci-fi movies to fill the gap. Additionally, there are quite a few sequels to your favorite franchises like Jurassic Park, Mission Impossible, Ant-Man, The Incredibles, and more. If you can`t find something to watch in the theaters this summer, you need to broaden your taste.We looked through all the movies coming out in the next three months to find 20 films that we are super-excited to see this summer, from brand new franchises to the returns of some of our favorite characters.Jump ahead to July or August. Action Point (June 1)Johnny Knoxville plays the owner of a rundown theme park who has to compete with a brand-new park with giant rides and a much better safety record The stunts in this movie are real, and it essentially looks like Jackass with a plot. If you like seeing dudes get hurt in ridiculous stunts (who doesn`t?), this movie is for you. Upgrade (June 1)In the near future, a man becomes paralyzed after being mugged. He gets an opportunity to walk again thanks to some futuristic technology: a computer that can control his movements. He becomes a vigilante, with his Jarvis-esque computer friend controlling his body to kick butt. You can check out the trailer here. American Animals (June 1)Evan Peters stars in this story--based on real events--about four young men who put together an incredibly ambitious heist to steal the most expensive book in the world.
