There are few stars in Hollywood busier than Dwayne `The Rock` Johnson. In the last 12 months, the actor starred in no fewer than four big movies, including the wildly successful Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. His next film is the action thriller Skyscraper, which hits theaters in July. A new trailer has now been released.Skyscraper stars Johnson as Will Sawyer, a former US Marine who now assesses security for skyscrapers. He`s hired to work in China, on the tallest, most advanced building in the world. Inevitably, it`s taken over by bad guys and set alight, with Sawyer the only man who can stop them and save his family. Although the set up is very Die Hard-esque, the movie looks like it`ll have much more in common with Johnson`s 2015 disaster epic San Andreas. Check it out above.Skyscraper also stars Pablo Schreiber (Orange is the New Black), Neve Campbell (Scream), Noah Taylor (Preacher), and Byron Mann (Altered Carbon). It`s directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, who previously directed Johnson in 2016`s Central Intelligence, as well as helming the comedies We`re the Millers and Dodgeball. It hits theaters on July 13.In related news, more details have emerged about another of Johnson`s upcoming projects--the Fast and Furious spin-off Hobbs and Shaw. The movie will also star Jason Stathatm and will be directed by Deadpool 2`s David Leitch. From Leitch`s description, it sounds quite a bit different from the rest of the franchise`s entries.`I think we want to have our own take on the Fast universe,` Leitch said. `It will definitely have elements of the original DNA, but it is more drifting into Shaw`s spy word and Dwayne`s agent world and, obviously, we want to build on their relationship, their conflict, their banter. That chemistry that they have between them, that`s sort of what`s driving the movie.`
