Gray pitches Yanks to 8th straight series win

Sonny Gray threw a four-hitter over eight sharp innings and Tyler Austin launched a pair of two-run homers to lift the Yankees to their eighth straight series win. Austin leads all American League rookies with eight homers as Miguel Andujar and Austin Romine also went deep for the Yanks. Royals starter Eric Skoglund went just five innings in his worst start of the season.
