Astros` late rally thwarted as D-backs walk off

Houston rallied to overcome a slow start Saturday, but the Astros could not quite get over the hump. Pinch-hitters Brian McCann and Derek Fisher had two-out doubles to tie the game at 3 in the eighth inning, but Arizona scored a run in a most unusual rally that started when Jeff Mathis beat out a bunt down the third-base line to open the ninth inning.
