Martin goes on DL, Gardewine recalled

The Rangers placed right-handed pitcher Chris Martin on the 10-day disabled list, retroactive to Tuesday, with right forearm irritation on Wednesday. To take his place on the active roster, the team recalled right-hander Nick Gardewine from Triple-A Round Rock prior to its game in Cleveland against the Indians.
