Alvarez lifts O`s to series win in last-minute start

A pair of home runs by Pedro Alvarez and a leadoff shot by Trey Mancini backed a strong start from Kevin Gausman as the Orioles beat the Tigers at Camden Yards. Tigers starter Daniel Norris (left groin tightness) and first baseman Miguel Cabrera (left biceps spasm) exited with injuries, and Detroit`s comeback attempt fell short thanks to strong relief work from the Orioles` bullpen.
