Sanchez`s velocity continues to dip

The Blue Jays will continue their three-game series against the Red Sox when right-hander Aaron Sanchez takes the mound on Wednesday night, with first pitch scheduled for 7:07 p.m. ET. Sanchez has experienced a dip in velocity so far this season. In 2016, he averaged 95.4 mph on his two-seam fastball, and last year it was 95 mph. Last Thursday against the Yankees, that number dropped to 92.8 mph. The velocity has not impacted his performance, with three quality starts in four outings. Eduardo Rodriguez will start for Boston.
