Morton, Astros` rotation continue to sizzle in win

Charlie Morton pitched seven shutout innings, allowing only three hits and no walks while striking out eight, as the Astros defeated the Mariners, 9-2, on Thursday afternoon at Safeco Field. Seattle turned a triple play on Evan Gattis in the fourth, but Jose Altuve added four RBIs, including a three-run double, while Max Stassi and Josh Reddick homered as Houston pulled away for the series win.
