Rockies players have just four practice days between Monday`s first full-squad opener and Friday`s Cactus League opener against the D-backs at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick. Where once upon a time players spent the first few live batting-practice sessions tracking pitches -- staying away from the inside pitch on the hands and thinking about dodging the pitch that gets away -- folks were swinging from the first sessions on Monday.
