Route permit fee imposed on Qingqi rickshaw

Rawalpindi: Punjab government has imposed route permit fee of Rs1,500 on each Qingqi rickshaw plying in the city to bring them in tax-net On the other hand, Qingqi rickshaw drivers have strongly protested against imposition of route permit fee and demanded of Punjab government to withdraw this decision immediately otherwise they will block all roads. District Regional Transport Authority (DRTA) Secretary Khalid Yameen Satti told `The News´ that there are total 1645 Qingqi rickshaw plying in different areas of the city.
