Environment Briefs: Eagle season has begun with first incubations

The New Jersey Eagle season has officially begun, according to Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey. Nest monitors reported seeing incubation on January 15th at two bald eagle nests in Burlington and Salem Counties, CWF said in a recent blog post. Now is the best of time of year to see eagles, since there are both resident and wintering eagles in the state at this time of year.
