Frances Nelson started school when she was five years old and will finally be leaving this year. After 47 years of being an educator, 32 of which she has been a principal, the one aspect she won`t miss is the Auckland rush hour traffic. Nelson has been travelling from Birkenhead to Fairburn School in Otahuhu for the last 13 years.
