Medical negligence: Family moves court against seeking FIRs against five doctors

GREATER NOIDA: The family of a three-year-old child who they alleged had died due to negligence of a doctor of a private hospital in Greater Noida, has moved court to lodge an FIR against five doctors of the Yatharth hospital Greater Noida and Jaypee hospital, Sector 128. The matter is to be heard by the court on Wednesday. TOI had reported in October last year that the family had complained to the DM about the incident after which a four-member committee including a gynecologist, a physician, an anaesthetist and a paediatrician from the district hospital was formed to look into the issue under the directions of the then CMO Subhash Gupta.
