Thane: The number of domestic fires, which have been witnessed across the city over the past few years, can drop by 99.9 per cent if citizens become more vigilant and consciously take necessary precautions, said experts. In addition to the cylinder-blast led blaze, which gutted 17 huts at Bhim Nagar in Vartak Nagar on Monday, the city has seen many other domestic fires over the past one year.
