The 2018 Golden Globe nominations were announced today and while some of our favourites from this year were snubbed, a number of young stars earned their well-deserved first nominations. While we were bummed to not see any nominations for The Big Sick and shut outs for Best Director and Best Screenplay nominations for Lady Bird and Get Out directors Greta Gerwig and Jordan Peele, the movies’ stars Saoirse Ronan and Daniel Kaluuya earned Best Actress and Best Actor nods for their work.
