Final Maze Runner: The Death Cure Trailer Shows A Dying World
(GameSpot PC News)

The final trailer for Maze Runner: The Death Cure, the last chapter in the post-apocalyptic franchise, has arrived. In the third Maze Runner movie, the world is dying and Thomas (Dylan O`Brien) may be the only one who can save it.The film follows Thomas and the rest of the Gladers as they attempt, once and for all, to take down the evil WCKD organization by penetrating Last City, a labyrinth controlled by the group. His goal is simple: To save children being used as test subjects by WCKD, who hope to find a cure to a virus killing off humanity. It leaves Thomas with the choice to either save his friends and those being held captive, or potentially the entire world. The Death Cure was originally scheduled to be released in early 2017. However, an on-set accident caused a major delay in production of the film. O`Brien suffered major injuries when he was run over by a vehicle during the filming of a stunt sequence in March 2016. Production resumed nearly a year later in February 2017, once the actor had recovered. Filming on the movie officially ended in June 2017.Joining O`Brien one final time in The Death Cure are co-stars Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, and Giancarlo Esposito. Walton Goggins will also debut in the movie as Lawrence, who is described as `part-revolutionary, part-anarchist, and a voice for the voiceless people.`Maze Runner: The Death Cure arrives in theaters on January 26.
