There were no surprises from the 75th Golden Globes nominations announced Monday morning in Beverly Hills, unless you call it a surprise that the Hollywood Foreign Press Association stayed within its comfort zone. That the HPFA didn’t nominate any women directors isn’t surprising, though it does make you take it less seriously.
