6-magnitude quake hits Iran-Iraq border

Tehran, Dec 11 - An earthquake measuring 6 on the Richter Scale shook the border region of Iran and Iraq on Monday evening, the Iran Seismological Centre said. The epicentre of the quake, which was felt in Iran`s Kermanshah province, was at a depth of 10 km, 35.066 degrees north latitude and 45.795 degrees east longitude in the Iraqi border city of Halubcah, Xinhua news agency reported. ......
