Garter snake photo by Ryan Wagner that will be featured on the 2018 Ohio Wildlife Legacy Stamp. A garter snake photograph by Ohio University sophomore Ryan Wagner was chosen as the official 2018 Ohio Wildlife Legacy Stamp photograph. Wagner snapped the winning photo during summer fieldwork while the harmless garter `glared defiantly` at him. Wagner is a Biological Sciences-Wildlife and Conservation major. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources created the Ohio Legacy Wildlife Stamp to raise awareness for both common and at-risk wildlife in Ohio.
