Contribution of Samak to music world lauded

Nagpur: Contribution of Purushottam alias Bhayyaji Samak to the world of music was lauded and a programme of singing marked the first day of the three-day event at RS Mundle Dharampeth Arts and Commerce College ground, on Friday. The programme was organized by Sanskrut Bharti (SB), Swarsadhana, Sanskar Bharti and Dhadpad Manch (DM) to pay tributes to the musician who passed away on August 11. The programme will conclude on Sunday during which various songs set to tune by Samak will be presented by around 50 singers and musicians of the city.
