Joe Manganiello's Deathstroke Costume Revealed By Actor On Twitter
(GameSpot PS2)

The following contains spoilers for Justice League. There`s a lot to be said about the Justice League movie--some good, some bad. However, the introduction of some surprise characters in the DC universe is one of the true joys of the film.In a scene that comes after the credits of Justice League, viewers meet Slade Wilson, otherwise known as Deathstroke (Joe Manganiello). While this is the first look at this version of character for audiences, it`s hard to take in the details of the costume, while also paying attention to what`s happening in the scene.pic.twitter.com/cyAt06tWTT - Joe Manganiello (@JoeManganiello) November 25, 2017Luckily, Manganiello knows that. The actor shared a photo of himself in full-costume on Twitter, giving the best look at Deathstroke yet. In it, an aged Wilson is wearing the signature Deathstroke armor and eye patch, with his helmet in his hands.Originally, Deathstroke was set to join the DC Extended Universe as a villain in an upcoming Batman standalone movie. At the time, though, Ben Affleck was writing, directing, and starring as Batman in the project. When Matt Reeves (War for the Planet of the Apes) took over as director, he revealed he would be working on an entirely new script for the movie. At this point, it`s unknown if Affleck will appear in the movie.Regardless of Affleck`s status, chances are you`re going to be seeing a lot of Manganiello in the DCEU over the coming years. While he will return for the Deathstroke standalone movie, the post-credits scene also sets up the character as one of the major villains in the next Justice League film. As the scene played out, Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) told Wilson that the two needed to form their own league of villains.Justice League is in theaters now. The Deathstroke movie, which The Raid director Gareth Evans is in talks to write and helm, has no release date.
