Davenport to hold special meeting Thursday

DAVENPORT — The Davenport City Commission will hold a special meeting Thursday at 6 p.m.The meeting in City Hall was scheduled for a public hearing and second reading on an ordinance to amend the fiscal year 2016-17 budget. Reasons for the revision include the change of city managers, expenses caused by Hurricane Irma and the costs of the Jamestown Park restroom improvements and demolition of the city`s swimming pool. ......
