Haven approves zoning change

WINTER HAVEN – The City Commission finalized a zoning change for suburban-style districts known as R-3 zones during Monday’s meeting.The measure passed unanimously, but there was one small change to what was being proposed. Engineer Dave Carter asked that when it came to apartment buildings, the maximum height be extended from 39 to 50 feet for the buildings that are the allowed maximum of three stories.“It would allow for more architectural flexibility, ......
