Earnings Today: Infosys May Lower FY18 Revenue Forecast

As many as five companies which are part of the benchmark Nifty 50 index, including Infosys Ltd. and HDFC Bank Ltd., are slated to release their second quarter earnings today. Information technology services bellwether Infosys Ltd. is expected to see profit grow 1.3 percent sequentially, in a quarter when it announced a mega-buyback and saw a change of guard at the helm following months-long tussle between the board and founders. Revenue in dollar terms is expected to rise 3.5 percent to $2,745 million.
