Beware the smoke and mirrors around the pot legalisation debate

OPINION: I hate pot, I really do. The anxiety attacks, paranoia, rancid bong smoke, the tatty pot culture, rasta beanies, `tribal` tattoos and all that. But I don`t mind you liking it - so I`ll be voting for the Government to get out of your way, the better for it focus on helping the minority of cannabis users who need it. Successive governments have mulishly insisted we keep criminalising recreational marijuana use. But a promised vote by 2020 could end this backward, `law is an ass` absurdity.
