The United States announced on Wednesday it will urge the United Nations Security Council to revive an international inquiry into who is responsible for the chemical weapons attacks in Syria - which will likely lead to a confrontation with Russia, according to Reuters. Russia probed the efforts and future of the joint inquiry by the U.N. and the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) and said it will decide whether or not to back renewing the mandate after investigators present their next report.
