Justice Center honors those who see and report problems

If you see something, say something. That sums up what the state`s Justice Center for Protection of People with Special Needs would like to promote in their efforts to broaden the base of those who report instances of abuse or neglect of the disabled by their caregivers. With that in mind, the Justice Center has started recognizing people who see something amiss with a disabled person and report it. On Thursday, investigators and others with the Justice Center conferred a new `Champion Award,` to an area barber shop owner who saw one of her longtime customers being mistreated and called it in last November. ......
