Posted On: September 22, 2017 Citizens Information Center to close Volusia County`s Citizens Information Center (CIC), which was activated Sept. 5 in response to Hurricane Irma, will close at 5 p.m. today. Since Sept. 5, the CIC has responded to more than 7,100 phone calls. If residents still have Hurricane Irma questions, they can call Volusia County Emergency Management at 386-258-4088 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Assistance, debris and other Hurricane Irma recovery information will continue to be posted to www.volusia.org/pin, on Emergency Management`s Facebook page, and via Twitter @VCEmergencyInfo.
