The German government claimed the British government did not make a concrete negotiation offer about the amount it should pay to exit the European Union, according to The Independent. The statement comes after British officials suggested to German Chancellor Angela Merkel the U.K. would pay 20 billion euros for its divorce bill which is a significant decrease from previous estimates, the report said.
