COIMBATORE: Two children died of suspected viral hemorrhagic fever in Coimbatore Medical College Hospital (CMCH) on Tuesday evening and in the early hours of Wednesday. The children, who were admitted to CMCH with symptoms of the dengue shock syndrome which included fever, bleeding and hypotension shock, had died even before they could be tested for the mosquito-borne virus, said hospital authorities.
