A `poorly worded` text message sent by a National Party volunteer to potential voters is being investigated by the Electoral Commission. On Tuesday night, 40 people received a text from `Paula Bennett` from an 021-number asking for their support in this weekend`s general election. Each recipient was able to see the phone number of everyone else on the list. Bennett`s message stated contact numbers had been taken from the electoral roll.
