Brinson, Burnes net top honors in Crew`s system

He never got going in two stints with the Major League club, but Brewers top prospect Lewis Brinson produced enough at Triple-A Colorado Springs to earn the organization`s Minor League Player of the Year honor on Friday. Brinson, whose season ended early with a left hamstring injury, will be recognized at Miller Park on Sept. 26 alongside Corbin Burnes, the Minor League Pitcher of the Year.
