Gomez sprains ankle; no timetable for return

Outfielder Carlos Gomez was on crutches and wearing a boot on his right foot in the Rangers clubhouse after a 3-1 loss to the Yankees on Saturday afternoon. Gomez had to leave the game in the second inning after he rolled his right ankle coming out of the batter`s box. Gomez underwent an MRI after the game, and the results showed a `mild` high ankle sprain. The Rangers don`t know how long he will be out.
