US ship collision stirs territorial dispute

Monday`s collision between a US Navy guided-missile destroyer and an oil tanker east of the Strait of Malacca has unwittingly rekindled an old territorial dispute between Malaysia and Singapore. `It happened in Malaysian territorial waters, specifically in Teluk Ramunia waters,` Malaysia Maritime Enforcement Agency director Gen Zulkifli bin Abu Bakar said at a news conference. ......
