6 years on, builder yet to hand over flats to 700 buyers

GURUGRAM: As many as 700 flat buyers from different parts of Gurgaon assembled at Leisure Valley Park in Sector 29 on Sunday to protest against Rajasthan-based developer Avalon group. The protesters alleged that the builder duped them and fleeced money from them. Protesters told TOI that they purchased the flats from the builder in 2011 at Avalon Rangoli in Sectro 24 in Dharuhera. `So many years have gone by and yet we haven`t got possession of our flats,` said Pradeep Sharma, one of the protesters.
