Workplace representatives of Unite, the UK`s largest union, are increasingly reporting that employers are attempting to force through pay freezes or below inflation pay offers, citing Brexit as the reason for their actions. Unite has learned of the latest Brexit effect to workplaces after launching a unique exercise to understand how Brexit is affecting workers. Unite is developing a database of the responses it is receiving from the 22,000 reps it has started to regularly survey on how Brexit is affecting them in the workplace.
