Business Buzz: Tourism expenditures continue to rise

Travel into Cumberland County domestically increased expenditures by more than 4 percent in 2016. The dollar figure was $525 million, according to figures released by Visit North Carolina. State and local tax revenues for the county were $39.62 million, saving residents $120.86 in taxes, the Fayetteville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau said in a news release.
