Maori Party selects Wendy Biddle despite past financial scrutiny

The Maori Party has chosen as its candidate for Rotorua a woman who was involved in a financial scandal at an iwi radio station. Wendy Biddle left Raukawa FM in Tokoroa under a cloud, and an investigation later found she`d paid more than $60,000 to her husband but invoices were only provided later. She also admitted using the electronic banking password of another trustee to authorise payments.
