Sewage keeps 3K plants blooming at Otteri park

Chennai: In the wake of the water crisis gripping the city, the Chennai Corporation is doing its bit to conserve water by recycling sewage for gardening at the Otteri herbal park near Perambur. A water treatment plant with the capacity to purify 40,000 litres a day has been installed in the park, with the water being drawn from the Otteri nullah.
