The Brazilian government will announce a new primary deficit target for this year and next by Wednesday, and it will not exceed 159 billion reais , cabinet ministers said on Tuesday. Brazil`s efforts to control a gaping budget deficit have been thwarted by weak tax revenue after two years of deep recession and a firm refusal by Congress to raise taxes, forcing it to increase its deficit target. ......
