Archaeologists digging in southern Egypt have unearthed three tombs that date back around 2,000 years, BBC News reported Tuesday. Digging in the burial grounds in the Al-Kamin al-Shrawi area in Minya province, the tombs were discovered at a site just south of Cairo, the report said. The tombs each contained a collection of different sarcophagi, or stone coffins, as well as clay fragments, the report said.
