More electric vehicle charging points being installed borough-wide

Wandsworth is gearing up for the electric vehicle revolution by installing another 41 charging points at 13 new sites across the borough. Work to install the charging equipment at these 13 locations is expected to have been completed by the middle of September. And by the end of this year they will be joined by at least another 60 at 20 more proposed locations, subject to local consultation. This will make owning and running an electric car a viable option for thousands more Wandsworth residents. The charging points each have their own parking space and can only be used by electric vehicles whilst being charged. Cars or vans that occupy them when not being powered up will be penalised....
