Almonte optioned as Tribe recalls Armstrong

Before their game on Wednesday against the Angels at Progressive Field, the Indians recalled right-handed reliever Shawn Armstrong from Triple-A Columbus. As a result of Armstrong`s promotion, outfielder Abraham Almonte was optioned to Columbus.
