Fencibles going up but season isn`t over until division two title is claimed

Fencibles United are the first East Auckland premier grade side to taste success this season after securing promotion to football`s NRFL division one for next year, after thumping Papakura City 5-1 away last Saturday. It has been a long stint in the NRFL second division for the Howick Pakuranga blue and reds and the club hierarchy will be thrilled to be moving up a flight, as it has been a priority for them for some seasons. Fencibles scored all six goals at McLennan Park, with Nydaye Balumba bagging a hat-trick including his third in the 90th minute, to go with goals by Matt Chant and Jack Allen, and they also netted for Papakura through an own goal in the first half....
