It`s been a while since the Pirates have had a start this good. Twenty-eight years, one month and one day, to be exact. Facing off against Jon Lester and the Cubs on Sunday for their final game of the first half of the season, the Pirates erupted for a 10-run first inning, bringing 15 batters to the plate and chasing the lefty before the end of the frame in an eventual 14-3 win.
