Jarrod Dyson hit a home run and reached base three times, backing rookie pitcher Andrew Moore, who allowed three runs in six innings. Marcus Semien and All-Star Yonder Alonso hit home runs for the A`s. Pitcher Chris Smith, a 36-year-old making his first big league start, allowed three runs over six innings.
