You can now share live video replays to Instagram Stories

In November last year Instagram introduced a live streaming feature. Since then it has been used by millions, but unlike on Facebook live stream videos could not be archived for watching at a later stage. Now, Instagram is introducing the option to share a replay of your live video to Instagram Stories. When a broadcast has ended, users will be able to tap `Share` at the bottom of the screen to add the replay to Instagram Stories for 24 hours. Alternatively you can tap the toggle and choose `Discard` to make the live video disappear from the app as before. If a user you are following shares a replay, a play button will appear under their profile photo in the stories bar. A tap on the icon will start playback of the video and lets you see comments and likes from the original broadcast. Tapping the right or left side of the screen lets you go forward or back in 15 second jumps. When watching your own replay, the displayed number of viewers includes everyone who saw it live and in stories. The update is available as part of Instagram version 10.26 for iOS and Android.
