A week after Cubs senior vice president of player development and amateur scouting Jason McLeod said pitching was `going to be a focal point` in the MLB Draft -- though he maintained they would still be looking for the biggest overall impact players -- the Cubs followed through by drafting a pair of pitchers in the first round.
