LONDON—Police in Manchester say a woman has been arrested in connection with the arena bombing that killed 22 people.Greater Manchester Police said the woman was detained during a series of property searches in the Blackley area of the city.The unidentified woman is the sixth person who has been arrested in England since Monday’s bombing after a concert by American pop singer Adriana Grande. The Manchester police said in a statement: “This is a fast-moving investigation and we are keeping an open mind at this stage.”The police chief leading the investigation said Wednesday that the attacker had not acted alone and that authorities were trying to unravel a wider web of plotters.“It’s very clear that this is a network we are investigating,” said Greater Manchester Chief Constable Ian Hopkins.The comments — which came as British troops fanned out across London at prominent sites such as 10 Downing Street and Buckingham Palace — confirmed what other senior British officials have hinted. It also offered further insights into Britain’s decision to raise the nation’s threat level to its highest point.In Libya, meanwhile, the father and younger brother of the man who British police say bombed the concert in Manchester have been detained, where anti-terror authorities said the brother confessed to knowing “all the details” of the attack plot.Hashim Abedi, the 18-year-old brother of alleged British-born bomber Salman Abedi, 22, was detained in Tripoli Tuesday night, a spokesperson for a Libyan anti-terror force said Wednesday.The Special Deterrent force said in a statement on its Facebook page that Hashim Abedi had told investigators after his arrest that both he and his brother belonged to Daesh, also known as ISIS or ISIL. “The brother was aware of all the details of the terrorist attack,” the statement said.The father of both young men, Ramadan Abedi, 51, was detain ...
